Edward Teach, Editor-in-Chief, CFO Magazine

Edward Teach oversees all editorial operations for CFO magazine and has significant involvement with its digital incarnations. In his more than two decades at CFO and CFO.com he has edited and written many stories on a wide variety of subjects, ranging from accounting and finance to technology, risk management, strategy, the global financial crisis, and more. Teach has won 20 writing and editing awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, including 8 national awards. Vincent Ryan, Editor-in-Chief, Digital Platforms

Vince Ryan devotes much of his editorial coverage to banking and capital markets. He has 22 years of experience reporting and writing on corporate finance, banking, and information technology for publications such asPC/Computing, Upside, and Telephony, where he won a feature-writing award from the American Society of Business Publication Editors. Prior to joining CFO in 2007, he was managing editor at Royal Media Group, where he launched newsletters and conferences targeted to financial services executives. David Katz, Deputy Editor

David M. Katz is responsible for all editorial content appearing in CFO’s online and mobile operations. Previously, he was CFO magazine’s New York bureau chief and senior editor overseeing coverage of accounting, tax, cash flow, and working capital. Katz has been with CFO since the October 2000 launch of CFO.com, and was previously a longtime assistant managing editor of National Underwriter, Property & Casualty. He has won several awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, including a Gold award for an annual CFO Buyer’s Guide and two Bronze awards for original Web commentary. Katz also received the award for excellence in financial journalism (electronic media) from the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. David McCann, Deputy Editor

David McCann devotes much of his editorial coverage to human capital and careers, focusing on the financial aspects of human-capital management, including human-capital risks and ROI; CFOs’ roles as leaders of their finance organizations; and financial-executive career paths. He has also covered technology, accounting, and other finance topics for CFO. From 1995 to 2006 McCann was editor-in-chief of MeetingNews, a news magazine for meetings-industry professionals, and from 1987 to 1995 managing editor of Business Travel News, a publication for corporate travel managers. Marielle Segarra, Editor

Marielle Segarra writes and edits stories for CFO Magazine. She reports on a wide range of corporate-finance topics, including growth companies, risk and compliance, sustainability, strategy, and accounting. Before joining CFO, Segarra wrote newscasts and science articles and reported from the Massachusetts State House for WBUR, Boston’s NPR station. She graduated from Brown University, where she wrote for the Brown Daily Herald and reported for WBRU-FM on issues such as gang violence in Providence, abortion in the health-care debate, and the quality of life in local prisons.
