CFOs on the Move: Week Ending April 8

Discovery Financial Services, OTC Markets Group, BrightRoll, HealthcareSource, Sun River Energy, Karmasphere, Wright Express, LivePerson, Orion Energy Systems.

Discover Financial Services has appointed Mark Graf chief accounting officer and CFO. He takes over from Roy Guthrie, who has been finance chief for the past six years. Graf joins the firm from Aquiline Capital Partners, where he was an investment adviser.

Todd Graber plans to resign as head of finance at OTC Markets Group this spring. A search is under way for his successor.

Online video advertising firm BrightRoll Inc. has named Ron Will to the top finance spot. Previously, he was treasurer and vice president of finance at Yahoo.

Bryce Chicoyne is the new finance chief at HealthcareSource, which provides employee-management software to the health-care industry. Chicoyne is a former CFO of Salary.com.

Sun River Energy Inc. has named Judson Hoover to lead the finance function. He succeeds CEO and president Donal Schmidt Jr., who has been serving as acting CFO. Hoover, who has been a consultant to the company since January, previously served as controller of Union Drilling Inc.

Big data intelligence software firm Karmasphere Inc. has named Daniel Moskowitz to head finance. He joins the company from Zend Technologies, where he was vice president of finance and operations.

Melissa Smith, CFO and executive vice president, finance and operations, of Wright Express Corp., has been promoted to the newly created post of president of Wright Express North America. She will be replaced as CFO at the business-payment-processing provider by treasurer and vice president, corporate finance, Steve Elder.

LivePerson Inc. has named Daniel Murphy to the top finance spot, effective May 3. He succeeds president and CFO Tim Bixby, who announced last year that he would leave the hosted software applications company. Murphy is a former CFO of Marketing Technology Solutions.

Michael Harris has been promoted to finance chief at Orion Energy Systems Inc., a manufacturer of energy-management systems. He takes over from Scott Jensen, who has been named chief accounting officer. Harris had been vice president of investor relations.
