CFOs on the Move: Week Ending May 27

Avon Products, Sears Holdings, The Reader's Digest Association, Alternet Systems, Echo Therapeutics, CEVA Logistics, Aria Systems, Supreme Industries, Obopay.

Kimberly Ross has been named to the top finance spot at Avon Products Inc., effective this fall. She will replace Charles Cramb, vice chairman of the company’s developed market group, who has been interim CFO. Ross now heads finance at Royal Ahold NV.

Sears Holdings Corp. has announced that CFO Michael Collins has resigned. Controller William Phelan will succeed him as acting CFO.

Paul Tomkins has been appointed finance chief at The Reader’s Digest Association Inc. and its parent, RDA Holding Co. He takes over from Tom Williams, who was promoted to president and CEO in April. Previously, Tomkins was vice president controller at AT&T Business Solutions.

Michael Viadero will lead the finance function at Alternet Systems Inc. He is a former regional financial officer of MasterCard International.

Echo Therapeutics Inc. has named Christopher Schnittker finance chief. He joins the company from Soligenix Inc., where he was chief accounting officer and corporate secretary.

Sheila Taylor will head finance at CEVA Logistics. Most recently, she was CFO of YRC Worldwide Inc.

Subscription billing and management provider Aria Systems Inc. has appointed Patricia Morris to the top finance spot. She comes to the company from Geeknet, where she also served as CFO.

Supreme Industries Inc., a manufacturer of specialized commercial vehicles, has named Matthew Long CFO, treasurer, and assistant secretary. Previously, he was treasurer of CTS Corp.

Payment and mobile-banking provider Obopay Inc. has appointed William Scharninghausen to lead the finance function. He is a former CFO of Global IP Solutions, which Google acquired in July.
