CFOs on the Move: Week Ending July 15

Avila Therapeutics, Leads360, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Pinnacle Airlines, SeaBright Holdings,L & L Energy, CRC Health Group, Celsion, Sensus.

Biotechnology firm Avila Therapeutics Inc. has appointed Andrew Hirsch to be its first finance chief. He comes to the company from Biogen Idec, where he was vice president of corporate strategy and M&A.

Darian Hong has been tapped for the top finance spot at software-as-a-service provider Leads360 Inc. He had been CFO of AT&T Interactive.

Interstate Hotels & Resorts has named Julie Pangelinan to lead the finance function. Formerly, she was CFO of Sunrise Senior Living Inc.

Edward Christie will head finance at Pinnacle Airlines Corp., effective July 25. A partner at Vista Strategic Group LLC, he is a onetime CFO of Frontier Airlines Inc.

Insurance holding company SeaBright Holdings Inc. has announced that CFO and assistant secretary Scott Maw has resigned, effective August 5. Principal accounting officer M. Philip Romney will become acting principal financial officer, effective August 8, until a permanent successor to Maw is found.

L & L Energy Inc. has appointed Ian Robinson to the top finance spot. He has been an independent director of the company since 2008 and previously was chairman of its audit committee.

LeAnne Stewart has been named to lead the finance function at CRC Health Group. She takes over from Kevin Hogge, who left the network of behavioral health-care services earlier in the year. Stewart is a former CFO of Granite Construction and, before that, of Nash Finch Co.

Oncology drug–development firm Celsion Corp. has promoted CFO Jeffery Church to the newly created post of senior vice president, strategy and investor relations. Gregory Weaver, a company director since 2005, will replace Church as CFO and has resigned from the board.

James Hilty has been promoted to the top finance spot at Sensus. Hilty, who has been interim CFO for the past six months, previously was vice president of business development at the utility infrastructure firm.
