CFOs on the Move: Week Ending Jan. 17

General Motors, RadioShack, Amgen, Express Scripts, Town Sports International, JBT, Electronics for Imaging, Global Geophysical Services

Chuck Stevens has been appointed to lead the finance function at General Motors. He succeeds Dan Ammann, who was promoted to president. Stevens has been CFO of GM North America since 2010.

RadioShack named John Feray to the top finance spot, effective Feb. 6. Most recently, he was senior vice president of finance and strategy at retailer Dollar General.

Jonathan Peacock has stepped down from his position as finance chief at Amgen, but is expected to stay on at the firm until May. Michael Kelly, CFO for international commercial operations, has been appointed acting CFO.

Express Scripts Holding Co. selected Cathy Smith to head finance, effective Feb. 10. She has held the top finance spot at Walmart International since 2010.

Fitness-clubs owner and operator Town Sports International Holdings has promoted CFO Daniel Gallagher to the posts of president and chief operating officer. Gallagher, who has been at the company since 1999 and CFO since 2008, will remain finance chief until his replacement is named.

Brian Deck has been named to lead the finance function at JBT Corp., which manufactures equipment for the air transportation and food-processing industries, effective Feb. 3. He takes over from Ron Mambu, who is retiring. Deck currently heads finance at National Material LP.

Electronics For Imaging has named David Reeder to the top finance spot. He joins the firm from Cisco Systems, where he was vice president, finance, of Cisco’s enterprise networking group.

Global Geophysical Services has promoted finance chief Matthew Verghese to chief operating officer. Verghese, who has led the finance function since 2009, will be replaced by treasurer Sean Gore.

Kyle Wescoat is the new CFO and treasurer of Emulex, a maker of storage networking products. Most recently, he headed finance at Skullcandy, the maker of headphones and earbuds.
