CFOs on the Move: Week Ending October 11

Clear Channel Media, Loews, Green Dot, Doral Financial, Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, The St. Joe, HCA Holdings, Acorda Therapeutics

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has named Steven Macri to head finance. Most recently, he was CFO at LogicSource.

Peter Keegan will retire from the top finance spot at Loews in May, when he will become a senior adviser. He will be succeeded by senior vice president David Edelson, who has been at the company since 2005.

Bank holding firm Green Dot has appointed Grace Wang finance chief. Previously, she worked at JP Morgan Chase, where she was managing director and CFO of investor services sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Doral Financial has chosen David Hooston to head finance. Formerly, Hooston was managing partner of Granite Bay Partners; before that, he held the top finance spot at HomeStreet.

Finance chief Mary Dotz has resigned from Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, effective November 11. Yifan Liang, currently chief accounting officer, will become interim CFO until a permanent replacement for Dotz is named.

Marek Bakun has been named to lead the finance function at real-estate developer The St. Joe Co., succeeding Tom Hoyer. Most recently, Bakun was CFO and treasurer at Orleans Homebuilders.

Applied Micro Circuits Corp. has selected Douglas Ahrens to fill the top finance spot, effective October 17. He joins the company from Maxim Integrated, where he was vice president of finance.

William Rutherford has been promoted to finance chief at HCA Holdings, effective January 1. He will succeed Milton Johnson, who will become CEO. Rutherford is now chief operating officer.

Biotechnology firm Acorda Therapeutics has named Michael Rogers to lead the finance function. He replaces David Lawrence, who will become chief of business operations. Previously, Rogers was CFO of BG Medicine.
